Fleet electrification is changing how organisations invest in their assets. For many fleets, it's the largest operational transition they'll make this decade.
Yet too often these decisions are driven by assumptions, vendor claims or broad industry averages rather than evidence specific to the organisation.
Quartz Shift was established to change that. We believe fleet investment decisions should be based on objective analysis, practical operational understanding and clear financial evidence - not hype.
Why we exist
The right pathway is specific to your organisation
Every organisation operates differently. The same vehicle that works perfectly in one fleet may be unsuitable in another. The lowest purchase price isn't always the lowest lifetime cost. The fastest transition isn't always the best transition.
Rather than starting with the question, "How quickly can we electrify?", we start with a different question: "What is the right transition pathway for this organisation?"

Our advice is deliberately independent. Quartz Shift does not sell vehicles, charging infrastructure or fleet management software. We don't receive commissions or referral payments from manufacturers or suppliers.
That independence allows us to provide advice based solely on the evidence. Sometimes that means recommending rapid electrification. Sometimes it means delaying replacement, retaining existing vehicles or transitioning only selected parts of a fleet.
The recommendation follows the analysis - not the other way around.
